The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center 's mission is twofold:
1. To support and empower those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault
2. To develop a community where there is no acceptance of or tolerance for either
The agency provides services to all who identify themselves as victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, sexual preference, religion, age or disabilities.
Our services include 24 hour emergency hotline and shelter, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Response Teams, individual counseling (in both Spanish and English), support groups, youth programs for children and teens, transitional housing, case management, outreach program, legal advocacy, safety planning, information and referrals, and community education.

March 17, 2014, Warren County: On Thursday, April 24th, 2014, at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:00pm, V Day Warren County will present a one-night only benefit reading of Eve Ensler’s award winning play The Vagina Monologues at the Independence Firehouse in Great Meadows. GIRL SCOUT CADETTE TROOP 94332 EARNS SILVER AWARD
Warren County, NJ – Girl Scout Cadette Troop 94332 with girls from Alpha and Milford earned their Silver Award with the creation, design, and installation of a Serenity Garden for the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) in Washington, NJ. The garden offers a beautiful place for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to sit and enjoy the outdoors while awaiting services. Prior to the garden’s installation, the site was gravel and a mostly weed-filled area with no place to sit. Now clients can enjoy the flowers, perennials, as well as ornamental grasses while sitting on a park bench and watching birds visit the birdbath. Three of the perennials are Heart Leaved Astor chosen by a gardener because the troop is part of the Girl Scout Heart of New Jersey Council. To continue reading...
